Air Sampling
& Monitoring
Air Sampling & Monitoring
When asbestos is disturbed, fibres are released into the air and then breathed in, which can lead to a range of serious, often fatal health conditions. If asbestos has been removed from a building you manage, or you suspect that an asbestos-containing material has been disturbed, air sampling and monitoring is an effective way to detect the level of asbestos fibres present.
As part of ongoing monitoring, air is drawn through a filter over time, allowing airborne asbestos particles to be collected for analysis. These samples will then be processed at our UKAS-accredited laboratory, allowing us to deliver fast, reliable results.
Protecting Your People & Property
Air monitoring will help ensure that contractors are equipped with suitable PPE when carrying out refurbishment work where asbestos is present and check that asbestos dust suppression methods are working effectively. It can also provide data for employee exposure records, helping you keep your people safe.
Having our own dedicated laboratory allows us to turn around results quickly, so you have the data you need to work safely within a building where asbestos might be present.
